Namdeb is renowned for its innovative mining methods, and it is in this regard that additional mining areas are created by depositing sand into the sea thereby extending the coastline to access the diamond reserves in the sea.

Our diamond exploration and mining takes place along the south-west coast, offshore in the shallow waters and inland areas of Namibia’s //Karas Region. Diamonds extend into the surf zone as well as shallow marine areas and the mainland-based operations are found in the town of Oranjemund and satellite mines along the Orange River.
