Townhoppers offers possibly the most disgusting service I have ever come across.
After booking and paying for a shuttle from Windhoek Airport to Windhoek, and being told it was secured and confirmed... it never showed up. I sat at the airport for 25 minutes. When I called them (and after Samantha Fielding called someone else and then called me back), turns out they had written down the wrong day. They can send someone, but I'll have to wait even longer. I decided to take another shuttle instead (why should I support a service that treats clients like this?) and told Samantha Fielding that I expect a full refund. She told me I'd have to speak to the owner. As result of their mistake, I was an hour late to Windhoek, the person who was fetching me had been and gone, and the rest of the day was havoc (let's bear in mind this was my best friend's wedding day).
Once back in SA, I call Townhoppers and ask to speak to the owner. Samantha Fielding told me that he was not in, and she doesn't know when he will be in. No, she can't take a message and have him call me back, because they don't dial international numbers (how many local clients do they have vs. international clients? This makes no sense to me), and I should send an email instead. I send Townhoppers an email describing what happened, and demanding a refund. Two days later and no one has bothered to reply and I do not have a refund.
This is absolutely DISGUSTING service.
